What was some of the challenges that you had with your old website?
I guess the main challenge is it didn’t truly reflect the image of our organisation. We wanted to develop a modern website and a lot of the information was quite outdated, and we just wanted to lift it up and get something that really reflected our organisation as we are today and all those we would have 5 years ago.
In the new website, what are some of the things that were important to you?
I guess since setting out to develop the website, we wanted to get across. We’re a community organisation so we wanted a community feel but we also wanted to have a very professional site that people could move around easily, find out what’s on, where it’s on, and really what all of the servicesthat we offer.That’s really important and we have our staff trying to update it and keep it current.
I think for us, just having a calendar that people could click on straight away, find out exactly where things were, what was on. And so we’re very, very happy with the overall of the website.
What was your experience in working with Liza and her team?
Yeah, it was terrific. For us, we’re a small organisation, we’ve got limited time, and for us it was always going to be very, very challenging to redevelop which I think is why we sort of let it go on for a little bit too long, the old website.
Liza was always accessible, we didn’t do a lot of contact over the phone, it was personal, face to face, and that just made it so much easy for us. When we spot difficulty with getting information together, she was always there to help us and the whole process was so simple and I’m so happy.
What did you think of the final outcome of the site?
We love it and more importantly our clients, our members love it. We launched it at our at the end of 2013, and we’ve had really fantastic positive feedback. It’s easy to update. It truly reflects who we are as an organisation.
Would you recommend Liza and Content Maximiser to other companies?
I would absolutely have no hesitation in doing that.
The experience like I said for a very time limited small organisation has been easy and the outcome is wonderful.
